Malice in Wonderland is back on Neocities! I will be maintaining both the Neocities and Nekoweb versions of the site from now on. EvRing will also be getting a NC page and Archivescence will be considered, but it might be a bit more difficult since I may have to break up some of the pages again

Happy Buffy day! The show first aired 29 years ago. I was going to continue with my Buffy rewatch today, but I ended up falling asleep for the entire afternoon.... maybe tonight. I did watch Chance (2002) though and since it's written/produced/directed by and starring Amber Benson (Tara) alongside James Marsters (Spike) and Andy Hallett (Lorne), it semi counts to me. I need Amber to narrate my life because her voice is just so nice. As for updates, ummmm don't worry about it :) I added a new drawing of Val to her page the other day, so you can look at that at least

I finished Buffy the other day... season seven was so bad I can't lie but the final scene made me cry. I'm still skeptical about the upcoming revival, but I'll keep an open mind about it especially since there's no way in hell Xander is going to be on it (unless they get the actor's twin, but that'd be a bit weird, right?).

I got a MacBook as an early birthday/graduation gift and it's SO COOL! Future updates may look a bit strange due to the new screen size, but I have my old laptop still so I'll be able to check how it looks on there as well :) Expect real updates soon!

I absolutely crushed my thesis defense the other day and I'm set to finally get my BFA in art, but more importantly I just hit 100 million neopoints on Neopets. I'm going to buy so many faerie dolls.

Okay, fine I failed. Or did I? (I did)... New blog is up. Also, I got really into Buffy this past month and I'm kicking myself for not watching it sooner, because this would've absolutely rewired my brain in high school. Also, Faith and Buffy should've totally gotten together. Maybe not permanently, but it would've been interesting to see how that would've played out and how it would affect the later half of season 3. Bad Girls alone gave them more chemistry than every moment with Buffy/Angel combined, like COME ON.

Sorry for the lack of updates on the experiment this week, I'm back home for the weekend and forgot to bring my notes with me! I'll probably have that out by Sunday or Monday. It's been a real rollercoaster this week in terms of the experiment and right now I am going SHARPLY downhill.

I have updated every page with accessibility changes. You can now hover over words with the fancy font and see a tooltip with readable text. Nav links now turn into a normal font when hovered over as well. I also made updates to the cursors so now there's a little arrow and I removed the outline because it didn't look good against the black background. I have a major graphics collection haul now (guess who got into collecting pixels?) so expect me to slowly chip away at that. As for the other stuff on my to-do list... We'll see how it goes :p

Added a bunch of fanlistings and webrings! Also the other day Evanescence did a Q+A during the FLAG video premire and AMY ANSWERED MY QUESTION! *dies* I didn't know what to ask, so I just asked her what tea I should have and she said jasmine, which I don't think I've ever had before. I bought some immediately and it's so good! It's probably my favorite flavor now. Funnily enough, my shampoo and conditioner are jasmine scented... Slowly chipping away at both this site's and Archivescence's to do's. I found a lot more stuff now that GifCities got an update, and all of those new graphics are on the top of my absolutely massive pile of stuff I need to upload... Updating the archive is like cleaning my room, I tell myself to not let it get too bad, then awhile later I look up and see all the stuff that needs to be done and I get overwhelmed and try not to think about it for even longer :p BUT I've learned over the years that by just starting small and breaking up tasks, I can get things done. Right now, I've been telling myself "Just upload 5 things, that's all you gotta do", so I do that every day or so. Some days I do more, some days I do less, but it's ok. I could write a blog about my archive process maybe, it's a lot more than just throwing images onto a page... Gah, too many blog ideas and barely any blogs to show for it!

All blogs and one guide are reformatted, guides will also be posted on Dreamwidth eventually for an easier way to link to them. Music page was mildly messed with and I started the foundation for the video games page. I'd do more but I'm getting bored now and don't want to burn myself out :p

My mom tries to find Evanescence merch for me online, she's so sweet :) I've been pretty bored these past few days because pretty much everything I enjoy doing requires arms, but I think I'll try working on singing when everyone else in the house is out. Hopefully this goes away in a few weeks, I have a watercolor class coming up >_< I'm typing all of this on my phone to make it easier on my wrists, but it's pretty hard to use the code editor this way lol

Okay, so it's most likey tendonitis... And it's in both wrists. So yeah, don't expect much for awhile sorry :/ Some pages will be unfinished for the time being. I'm so frustrated, I finally had the motivation to code and draw for more than a few seconds for once and now I can't do either of those, so now I have all these ideas in my head and I can't do anything about it!

*Walks in covered in blood and scratches* you should see the Evanescence shrine page.... Ok so I got the general layout of that page done it just needs the actual stuff to go in it. I had to code for about 45 min in the dark with my hotspot on because a storm knocked out my power o_O It's back now though it's fine lol. The Winamp part is fully functional by the way, you just can't really move it around because I had to stick it in an iframe because positioning problems, but it can play songs and shuffle and all that. I got a few pre-Fallen songs and all of Fallen up so far, I'll get some more up soon.

The music page is now moved to the new layout! Now I just need to get the Ev shrine done and I'll have all my old pages fully converted! I'm trying to take it easy to avoid burnout and to give myself more time to think of anything cool to add. I'm still not 100% sure on the current layout, so I might make some minor changes here or there. I've been thinking about doing different themes for some sections of the site, especially the shrines... I'll figure that out after I get some other stuff done first.

I think now is the time to migrate everything from the test folder to the real site! I don't have all the pages set up, but the existing pages that aren't in the new layout will just redirect to the old one. I can't believe I got all this done in just a couple of days!
