Welcome to my Bizenghast shrine! Bizenghast is an OEM (Original English Manga) created by M. Alice LeGrow. It is about a girl named Dinah, who lives with her aunt in Bizenghast following the death of her parents. She also sees the ghosts that haunt her house, which used to be a hospital and a boarding school. One day, Dinah and her friend, Vincent, stumble upon a mausoleum. They enter, and Dinah accidentally binds herself to a contract that states that she must come back every night to free ghosts from the vaults that hold them, or else she will die. Both her and Vincent go back to free the spirits, with help from the tower guards Edaniel and Edrear later on. This is my favorite manga and a major inspiration for my college thesis! M. Alice is also on Webtoon under the name Punko, where she has published Stagtown and her ongoing series Cinderella Boy.
